Dr U S Awasthi, former Managing Director of IFFCO, met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and expressed happiness over the interaction, recalling their shared connection with Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Both being alumni of BHU, they reminisced about their time at the university and exchanged memories from their student days.
During the meeting, the two leaders also held discussions on the progress being made in the cooperative and agriculture sectors in Jammu and Kashmir. The conversation focused on the role of cooperatives in strengthening rural development and supporting farmers.
