In a significant boost to agricultural innovation, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited has secured a patent in Malaysia for its “Nano Urea Fertiliser and Method of Manufacture Thereof.” The development marks a key milestone in the cooperative’s efforts to promote advanced, sustainable farming solutions globally.
Sharing the achievement, former Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi expressed pride in being part of the inventor team. He also acknowledged fellow contributors Lakshmanan Arunachalam, Yogendra Kumar Singh, Birender Singh, Deepak Gajanan Inamdar, and Tarunendu Singh for their role in the innovation.
The patent recognition underscores IFFCO’s growing footprint in cutting-edge fertiliser technology. Nano Urea, seen as a game-changer in reducing conventional fertiliser use, is expected to enhance productivity while promoting environmental sustainability, reinforcing India’s leadership in agri-tech advancements.
