Assam’s Sinleima Weavers Producer Cooperative Society Limited is participating in the Indian Handmade Expo (IHE) 2026 with the support of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), New Delhi Regional Office.
The Expo is being organised by the National Design Centre under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, from January 10 to 18, 2026, at Handloom Haat, Janpath, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
Two members of the society, Smt. Th. Binodini Devi and Smt. Shubharani Singha, are representing the cooperative and are interacting with buyers from various states. Sinleima handkerchiefs are receiving an encouraging response and witnessing strong demand during the ongoing event.
The products are being showcased through designer-led presentations, including a fashion show supported by NABARD, which has helped enhance product visibility and market appeal. The participation is providing valuable market exposure and opening new business opportunities.
