The Assam Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd., headquartered at Panbazar, Guwahati, has announced the recruitment of a Managing Director (MD) and invited applications from eligible Indian citizens.
The notification, dated 5 December 2025, outlines the qualifications, experience, and application procedure for the prestigious leadership position.
As per the advertisement, candidates preferably below 55 years of age are eligible to apply. Applicants must possess at least one of the prescribed qualifications, including a graduate degree with CAIIB/DBF/Diploma in Cooperative Business Management, Chartered or Cost Accountancy, or a postgraduate degree in any discipline.
In addition, candidates must have a minimum of eight years of experience at the middle or senior level in the banking sector. For this purpose, middle/senior level refers to positions from the third officer cadre onward, or the top two levels below the CEO. Proficiency in the local language is mandatory.
The bank has stated that pay and allowances will be negotiable. Interested candidates must submit a detailed application addressed to The Chairman, along with photographs, testimonials, and a declaration form. Applications may be sent by post, courier, or delivered directly to the Chairman’s Office within 20 days of publication.
