Dhemaji police in Assam arrested the cashier Bonti Mili (Tayeng), who swindled credit money of Rs 1.30 crore in the Asom Bahumukhi Samabai Samiti, Jonai branch, says North East Now.
The accused was absconding but the police managed to arrest her from Silapathar area in Dhemaji district recently.
The police are searching for other people involved in the fraud. A case has been registered against them all.
