Asawa upbeat as Mahesh Bank begins scouting talents

An upbeat Umesh Chand Asawa, MD of AP Mahesh Cooperative Bank said “I am happy as we have tied-up with Times Pro to get talented people for the bank and would also train our employees to professionalize our services”.

It bears recall that AP Mahesh Cooperative Bank has signed a MoU with Times Pro, a part of Times Professional Learning to recruit trained staff at branch offices across the country. Mahesh Bank Chairman Purshotamdas Mandhana was present on the occasion.

He further said there are about 600 employees in the bank and in the first phase we are planning to train around 140 employees of the bank. Times Pro will offer courses like PGD in Banking and Financial Services, among others, he added.

It is the first Urban Cooperative Bank that has tied-up with Times Pro.

A P Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank popularly known as Mahesh Bank was registered as a Primary Co-operative Society on 30th June, 1977. The Bank commenced its operations on 9th August, 1978 and the bank has a network of around 44 branches functioning in four states.
