Arunachal Pradesh Minister for RD & Panchayati Raj, Cooperation, and Transport, Ojing Tasing, held a meeting with the Chairman and team of the Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Union (APSCU) to review the ongoing preparations for the Union’s Golden Jubilee Celebration 2024–25.
The Minister lauded APSCU’s 50 years of dedicated service, describing the milestone as a reflection of the strength and resilience of the cooperative movement in Arunachal Pradesh.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the need for closer collaboration to strengthen the Cooperation Department, State-level Federations, District Cooperative Unions (DCUs), and Primary Cooperative Societies at the grassroots.
Tasing emphasized adopting forward-looking strategies to empower cooperatives as drivers of socio-economic development, self-reliance, and inclusive growth. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to building a robust cooperative sector that uplifts communities and contributes meaningfully to the state’s progress.
