Arunachal Times reports the challenges and problems facing the cooperative sector were recently discussed in a meeting of the Lower Subansiri District Cooperative Union (DCU)in Arunachal Pradesh.
Agriculture Minister Tage Taki, presided over the meeting. The minister called for determined efforts by subsistence farmers and weavers of the district to build a strong cooperative to meet the market demands.
Taki also urged cooperative societies to ensure loans are repaid on time.
