Nyakar Raksap, President of the Arunachal Pradesh Consumers’ Cooperative Federation, was honored with the “Indian Icon Award 2024” by the Global Excellence Forum at an event in New Delhi.
Raksap received the award for his significant contributions to socio-cultural development and the cooperative movement in Arunachal Pradesh.
Upon his return, Raksap was warmly welcomed at the airport by welfare societies. He acknowledged their support, expressing that society remains his priority and life’s work.
Raksap has a long history of social activism, beginning with his involvement in local politics as a Gram Panchayat member, and later advancing to work for the welfare of farmers.
