Sachin Apte was unanimously designated as the Vice Chairman of Cosmos Bank in a recently held meeting of the Board of Directors, informs a press release issued by the bank.
Adv. Adv. Pralhad Kokare, current Vice Chairman of the Bank, as part of Succession Planning and giving opportunities to new Directors, resigned from the post of Vice-Chairman, passing on the baton to Sachin Apte.
Adv. Kokare has been on Cosmos Bank’s Director Board since 2005 and as the Vice Chairman of the Bank since January 2020. His expert experience in cooperative banking and administrative field has always played a pivotal role in guiding the Board of Directors.
It bears recalling that the newly designated Vice-Chairman, Sachin Apte was elected to the Board of Directors in January 2020. Apte is Civil Engineer by profession and is well-known nationally and internationally as a successful builder.
As informed by the Bank’s Internal Staff Association, Ravishankar Kore (Clerk) is appointed as Staff Representative. Kore has been working with the Bank since 1992.
