Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Bank Chairman Ashok Bajaj said state Chief Minister Raman Singh and Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will distribute RuPay Credit Card to farmers on the occasion DigiDhan Mela Monday 2nd January in Raipur”.
He said it is planned to give 10 lakh KCCs to the farmers- a goal likely to be achieved in the current financial year itself.
He informed that till now more than 1 lakh cards have been issued and the trials have already been done in various branches of the bank.
With the help of Kisan Credit Card, farmers will be able to get short term credit for crops and other non – farm activities, Bajaj said to this correspondent.
