In a significant move towards advancing digital agriculture, a high-level strategic partnership meeting was held in Vijayawada between the Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (APCOB) and RABOBank.

The discussions centered on the Farmrise One project, a transformative initiative aimed at integrating digital solutions and enhancing financial services for farmers across Andhra Pradesh.

The meeting saw the participation of M.R. Gopal, Chief General Manager (CGM) of NABARD, Dr. R.S. Reddy, Managing Director of APCOB, and N. Venkataratnam, CGM of APCOB, alongside officials from NABARD, RABOBank, Bayer, Dehaat, I2V, and Kaleidofin. Senior officers from APCOB also contributed to the discussions.

Key agenda points included a review of the project’s progress, insights into its implementation, and a comprehensive analysis of its potential benefits and associated risks.

The collaboration underscores a commitment to sustainable and inclusive agricultural growth through cutting-edge digital innovations.

The APCOB-RABOBank partnership is expected to pave the way for enhanced financial accessibility, improved agritech solutions, and stronger support for farmers in Andhra Pradesh.
