Senior cooperator G H Amin turned 75 on Monday (28th March) when scores of his friends visited his house in Ahmedabad to greet him.
One of the important persons to greet him on the occasion was Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel. Having maintained a long relationship with the CM, Amin has been working hard for his victory in every election, as CM’s constituency falls in Amin’s area.
Besides the CM, several cooperators greeted Amin on Monday. Social media was also flooded with birthday wishes for him.
Amin heads not only the state co-op union but also is a member of the Governing Council of the apex body of co-operatives, NCUI. Amin had been NCUI’s President and Vice-President in the past. People say Amin
has clout in the Modi govt due to his younger brother Narhari Amin an important politician in Gujarat.
G H Amin is a lawyer by profession and still practices in Gujarat High Court.
