Amin elected Chairman of Guj State Co-op Credit Fed

Ghanshyambhai Amin has been elected yet again as the Chairman of Gujarat State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation, the election for which was held on Tuesday in Ahmedabad.

The election for the office–bearers of Gujarat State Coop Credit Societies Federation for the fifth term was held in the Federation Chamber where Amin was declared elected. He will have a tenure of five years from 2017-2022.

A press release sent by GSCU’s CEO Dushyantsinh C Vaghela said “It is pertinent to note that Shri Ghanshyambhai H Amin is Founder Chairman of the Federation and he was consecutively elected for the fifth term unanimously. Presently Ghanshyambhai Amin is also Chairman of Gujarat State Cooperative Union and Vice President of National Cooperative Union of India, New Delhi.”

“Besides, he is also Chairman of Cooperative Bank of India. It is noteworthy that Gujarat State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation is an Apex Body of 5700 Credit Societies functioning in the state of Gujarat”, the release read.

The other winners included Maheshbhai A Patel – Vice Chairman, Dr.Jivrajbhai K Godhani – Vice Chairman, Harshadbhai M Shah- Hon Secretary.

Earlier, Amin was appointed as the member of Western Zone Railway Users Consultative Committee. The Committee is constituted for augmenting the facilities and amenities of Railway Passengers as well as inviting suggestions for improving the services offered by the Railways.
