G.H. Amin Vice-President NCUI has congratulated the newly elected president of ICA Mr Ariel Guarco and conveyed all the best wishes to him for his new assignment.
Amin has expressed his hope that the apex global cooperative body will become much more effective under his leadership. G. H. Amin also appreciated the invaluable services rendered by the outgoing President Monique Leroux.
Recently, global conference and general assembly of ICA was held in Malaysia where Ariel Guarco from Argentina was elected the new chairman.
ICA is an independent association which unites, represents and serves cooperatives worldwide. Founded in 1895, it has 284 members drawn from 98 countries of the world. Its member cooperatives represent nearly a billion people.
