Amendments to Kerala Co-op Bill await Guv’s nod

The Kerala government has responded to the queries raised by Governor Arif Mohammed Khan concerning the latest amendments to the Kerala Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill passed by the state assembly, media reports say.

The state govt has claimed that the bill passed by the assembly is aimed to revamp the cooperative sector.

The bill is awaiting the Governor’s assent. The concerned minister has said that the govt has been able to convince the Governor about the merit of the amendment.
