The new branch of District Cooperative Bank, Ambikapur (Chhattisgarh) at Ramchandrapur was inaugurated by the local MLA Brihaspat Singh last week.
In his remarks on the occasion, Singh gave hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the area and said that this branch will prove to be a milestone for the local farmers who are forced to travel long to avail of the banking facility.
The Bank CEO A K Diwedi, scores of farmers, officials, and others were present.
