Almora DCCB performs better than last year

Uttarakhand based Almora District Cooperative Bank earned a net profit of Rs 5.19 crore in the 2021-22 FY. Earlier in 2020-21, it was Rs 3.79 crore.

This was announced in the 51st Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday, in which the state cooperative minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat took part virtually.

Addressing the AGM, the bank Chairman Lalit Latwal said, “The bank is providing the banking facilities in rural areas through the network of 31 branches”.

“Under the Deendayal Kisan Kalyan Yojana, a target of Rs 87 crore has been given for short term loans in Almora and Bageshwar districts in the financial year 2021-22, against which Rs 81.99 crore has already been distributed to 17174 members.
