The anti-corruption bureau of Haryana recently arrested an assistant registrar of cooperative societies who was also the general manager, integrated co-operative development project (ICDP), for swindling Rs 1.3 crore from the ICDP’s Rewari office, reports HT.
The accused was arrested under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Prevention of Corruption Act.
He misappropriated the money given as the grant by the state govt. for various projects at ICDP , Rewari.
