AAI ties up with Bharat Taxi for Airport Cab Services

The Airports Authority of India has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bharat Taxi, India’s first cooperative-based ride-hailing platform, to roll out regulated and passenger-friendly cab services at select airports across the country.

The agreement is part of Bharat Taxi’s expansion plans following its recent formal launch as a national cooperative taxi service.

Bharat Taxi has already partnered with institutions such as the Delhi Traffic Police, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and State Bank of India to support regulated operations, financing and seamless last-mile connectivity.

Promoted by the National Cooperative Development Corporation, the platform follows a driver-owned cooperative model, offering transparent fares with no surge pricing while prioritising driver welfare.

The initiative aligns with national goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Sahakar se Samriddhi and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
