92% polling recorded in Maha Fed voting

In the elections of Maharashtra Urban Cooperative Banks Federation (MUCBF) held on Saturday, 92 percent polling was recorded. Out of 269 eligible voters, 248 cast their votes.

Six voting centers were set up across Maharashtra. The counting of votes will be done on 14th November 2022 and results will be announced soon after the counting.

Many cooperators including Cosmos Bank Chairman Milind Kale, the outgoing President Vidyadhar Ananskar, Pravin Darekar, Sandeep Gandat, Chairman, Abhyudaya Cooperative Bank and other stalwarts contested the elections.

In Pune out of 47 voters, 46 cast their votes whereas in Nashik out of 50 voters, all-cast their votes. Similarly, in Mumbai out of 39 voters, 37 used their voting rights.

For 11 seats 25 candidates were in the fray. Pratap Patil has been appointed as the returning officer to oversee the election process.
