Workshop for UCB officials in Guwahati

Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati is organizing a five-day workshop for cooperative banks with an aim to update the knowledge of the officials of co-operative banks and help them understand the best cooperative banking practices.

In a release sent to Indian Cooperative IIBM claims to be sponsored by RBI, NABARD and five PSU Banks.

Various skill-sets required to run a bank successfully are being taught in this seminar. These include KYC norms, PMLA, CFT as risk management tools, Management of loans and advances, Asset Liability Management, Investment Management, Customer Service and Technological Issues and NPA Management, etc.

The programme is specially designed for the officials of co-operative banks, Primary Urban Cooperative Banks and Urban Cooperative Banks.

The workshop includes lectures, discussions, sharing of experiences, power point presentation and field visit, etc. It is taking place at IIBM Campus, Jawahar Nagar, Guwahati.
