There may be different political regimes in the two states but cooperative brotherhood between the state of Uttrakhand and Gujarat goes unabated. Recently Dehradun district cooperative bank visited Ahmadabad Mercantile Co-operative Bank in Gujarat under study tour.
The Dehradun team consisted of a group of 13 members of management committee – chairman, vice chairman and directors of DCCB. The aim was to understand the working and activities of urban cooperative bank.
Known as AMCO bank, a multi state scheduled urban cooperative bank, the UCB’s Narendrabhai M. Patel, vice chairman and other directors welcomed the members of managing committee of the Dist. Coops. Bank, Dehradun.
Pinakinbhai Shah, secretary, AMCO bank gave a power point presentation on financial figures of the bank and G.P. Mistry, chief executive explained activities of the bank.
