The Executive Meeting of National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd. (NAFSCOB) was held in New Delhi on Friday in which all the newly appointed directors took part.
Prior to that, leaders went for a meeting with Minister of State for Agriculture under the Chairmanship of Mr Dilip Sanghani, ex MP & ex Minister. Dr Bijender Singh, Dr Manjunatha Giwda & Bhima Subrahmanyam and Ashok Bajaj were part of meeting.
Readers would recall that Mr Dilip Singh Sanghani emerged as the new Chairman of the apex national body of cooperative banks NAFSCOB, election for which was held recently in Mumbai.He was unanimously elected. Several directors including Ramesh Chaubey of Bihar State Cooperative Bank and Ashok Bajaj bagged the post of vice-chairman.
Sanghani had been a Minister in the Gujarat government and belongs to BJP.
