Infosys bestows award on Cosmos Co-op Bank

The leading software giant Infosys has bestowed on the Cosmos Co-operative Bank with the Infosys Pinacle Client Innovation Awards 2015. The Cosmos Bank was adjudged the runner-up among the 104 nominations received for the awards programme informed Chairman CA Milind Kale during the Cosmos Value Connect, a borrowers meet recently organized at the Cosmos bank’s corporate office- theCosmos Tower.

The Cosmos Bank’s initiative for “Integrating Tally accounting software with internet banking” was adjudged the runner-up in the Customer Service Innovation category. Kale informed that the award is a celebration of the efforts and initiatives taken by the team to deliver breakthrough innovations in banking products, customer service, processes, distribution channels and project management.

This solution substantially cuts down operational and infrastructural costs by reducing paper work. It builds stronger customer loyalty. The bank is able to offer additional services including cross selling of products. More importantly, the bank is able to reach more corporate base.The bank is able to expand its services to corporate areas. It reduces Turn–Around-Time (TAT) for the customer’s bank operations. The transactions are processed online and in real time thus ensuring the reduced TAT.

Kale also informed that Customer Delight is ensured with improved customer interaction which, in turn results in higher customer satisfaction. Customer are delighted as they are getting services from anywhere and anytime in real time.The bank also enjoys better productivity since minimal manual intervention has ensured “First Time Right” for all the operations. This solution makes for easy audit as well as makes tracking available. He said most of the customers have started using internet banking and mobile banking services.
