SVC Co-operative Bank, one of India’s oldest multi-state scheduled banks with a legacy of 118 years, has enhanced its digital banking ecosystem with the launch of SVCNXT, an upgraded Mobile and NetBanking platform offering improved security, accessibility and convenience. The bank says the new features will enable smoother, faster and more secure digital transactions for customers.
Among the new upgrades is Biometric Login with Face Recognition for Apple users, allowing password-free access through fingerprint or facial verification. This ensures stronger account security while speeding up login time.
The Self-Onboarding facility now allows new as well as existing customers to register instantly for mobile and internet banking through a quick, paperless process.
Making payments easier, the Pay to Contacts feature enables users to transfer funds directly using the mobile numbers of SVC Bank NetBanking registered contacts, removing the need to enter account details manually.
The Reserve and Schedule Funds tool allows users to allocate funds in advance and automate future transactions, helping avoid missed payments. Customers can also digitally add or update nominees through the Manage Nominee facility without branch visits.
Speaking at the launch, Chairman Durgesh Chandavarkar said that as a cooperative institution, the bank is focused on customer empowerment and secure digital convenience. Managing Director Ravinder Singh said the upgrades align with SVC Bank’s vision of innovation with trust, aiming to make banking simpler and accessible for all.
Founded in 1906, SVC Bank today operates across 10 states and one union territory with 203 branches, 220 ATMs and over 2,400 employees. As on March 31, 2025, the bank’s total business stood at Rs 39,353 crore, net profit rose 10.52 percent to Rs 241 crore, Gross NPAs declined to 1.96 percent while Net NPAs reduced to 0.25 percent, and PCR improved to 87.54 percent.
