Dadar Branch of the Cosmos Co-operative Bank Ltd completed its successful 25 years on February 20th, 2014. The Silver Jubilee function was celebrated enthusiastically by a mix of cultural programme.
For this special event, Bank’s Chairman – Krishnakumar Goyal, Vice-Chairman – Milind Kale, Managing Director – Vickrant Pounkshe, Directors of the Board, Ex-Chief Minister of Maharashtra – Manohar Joshi as well as Members and Customers were present in large numbers.
Manohar Joshi quoted that he has cordial relations with Cosmos Bank since many years. Cosmos Bank has carved a niche for itself by giving outstanding service to citizens of Mumbai. He stated that Marathi individuals should prefer business instead of job for their development.
Krishnakumar Goyal stated that today marks the 25th year of Cosmos Bank stepping into Mumbai territory. On this day in the year 1989 Dadar branch was inaugurated. It is due to the constant support, trust and affection of all the members, customers and well-wishers that Cosmos Bank has made such significant progress.
On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Dadar Branch, the very popular programme of Hindi songs “Awaaz Ki Duniya”, by Ashok Hande was organized in the evening at Yashwant Natyagruha, Matunga for the members and customers.
During this programme Chairman – Krishnakumar Goyal, felicitated Chairman Emeritus – Dr. Mukund Abhyankar on his
election to the post of President of “NAFCUB”. Members and customers were present in large numbers for this programme.
Presently, Cosmos Bank has 30 branches in the Mumbai Region having total setup of more than ` 8000 crore. Dadar Branch was inaugurated in Mumbai in the year 1989. Today the setup of Dadar Branch alone is more than ` 1600 crore.
