The leading Urban Cooperative Bank of India Cosmos Bank scored yet another victory by opening 126th of its branch in Ahmednagar last week. Cosmos is here to co-operate and not to compete said Krishnakumar Goyal, Chairman of Cosmos Bank on the occasion.
The Ahmednagar Branch was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Arun Firodiya, industrialist and the Chairman of Kinetic Group of Companies. Milind Kale , Vice Chairman of Cosmos Bank and the directors such as Shreepad Panchpor, Pralhad Kokare, Govind Kshirsagar and Arvind Deshpande were present at the occasion.
The depositors and account holders were also present in a large number.
Goyal said, ‘Tatpar Sewa-Sasmit Sewa’ is the motto of Cosmos Bank. Bank is carrying forward its 107 yrs old legacy of trusted banking and has always displayed accelerated growth. At the same day of inauguration, Ahmednagar branch has opened 250 new accounts worth Rs. 7 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Firodiya said, “Ahmednagar city area has potential for business with its diverse fields of opportunities such as Tourism, Dairy, Rural Development and Automobile Parts.
The Bank shall tap these opportunities and shall form relevant Loan Schemes which will contribute to the development of Ahmednagar city in business and small scale industries sector. “
