Cosmos Co-operative Bank , Chairman CA Milind Kale has informed that Suhas Gokhale has been appointed as Managing Director of the Bank.
Prior to his elevation, Suhas Gokhale the Joint Managing Director of the Bank served the Bank for long 34 years in various capacities.
Gokhale worked across various operational spheres at branches, departments, regions and head-office. He successfully led the Credit Portfolio. He also served as Head – Credit, Recovery, NPA, Audit & Inspection, Legal, etc.
He has successfully executed the merger and consolidation plans of 15 small co-operative banks into The Cosmos Co-operative Bank laying the operational road-map for their smooth transition into the Bank’s mainstream business. He was also instrumental in substantial recoveries in the NPA accounts of the Banks.
Chairman Kale said Managing Director, Gokhale’s vast experience of 34 years, his business acumen, penchant for prompt decisions, systematic approach to work and leadership qualities would do the bank proud.
