A.P.Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank in Cyberabad, Andhra Pradesh is defamed of a gold robbery from its strongroom.
According to Cyberabad police commissioner, a professional gold appraiser pulled off a heist at the bank and made away with gold worth crores of rupees.
The accused is attached to Axis Bank as a gold appraiser. The latter’s wife and son were also complicit in the crime.
The police investigation reveals that the accused leveraged his closeness with some bank officials to his advantage. That is why the Cyberabad police have arrested two employees of the bank for their negligence.
Police say the entire booty has been recovered. A case under section 406 [criminal breach of trust] has been registered, police said.
