10th All India Conference on UCB and Credit-coops

all india confrenceThe 10th All India Conference of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies is being held after a gap of seven years. The programme is scheduled for Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th January 2015.

The main focus of the conference would be “Good Governance and Development”.

This Conference will also focus various issues and difficulties faced by the Urban Co-operative Banks and Credit Societies sector during last 10 years. Imposition of Income Tax on UCBs, Umbrella Organisation, a National Bank for UCBs, increasing Deposit and insurance Cover, Licensing of Co-op Credit Societies into UCBs and Insurance Cover / Membership of Payment System to Credit Societies

Because of the limited seating arrangements only 2500 delegates would be registered on “first come first serve basis.’

Different rates have been fixed for the registration. For Scheduled Urban Co-op Banks/ State Co-op. Banks/ DDC Banks ,  Non Scheduled Urban Co-op Banks and  Mahila Co-op Banks,  State Co-op Banks Federation/ Association Director and Credit Co-op Societies- 6000 along with the individual Delegates are expected to participate.

The rate of registration is discounted for the delegates of North Eastern Region coming from Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh.
