In a mega show encompassing all the 650 districts in the country Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare would present video message of the Prime Minister followed by a film showing the efforts being made by the Government of India for agricultural development.
Last week Singh held audio conferencing with the heads of all the VCs, ATTARI Directors and all the heads of KVKs across the country telling them about the programme known as “Sankalp to Siddhi: New India Manthan (2017-2022)”.
It would be launched in all the districts of the country from August 19 and would end by August 30, 2017, says govt release.
Singh said this programme will last two and a half hours explaining how to get rid of ills such as poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism, casteism etc.
The exercise is aimed at doubling the income of the farmers of the country by 2022, said Singh underlining the vision of the Prime Minister. All necessary materials and messages are being provided to all KVK.
The presence of all the Agriculture and Allied Sectors officers and employees of the Government of India and the State Government, students and a large number of farmers will be ensured during the programs. Union Agriculture Minister has personally written to the Ministers as well as MPs of all the districts, to be present during the programme in their own districts.
