Addressing a convocation programme of Lala Lajpat Rai University, Union Agriculture and Farmers welfare Minister Radha Mohan Singh said ”we have to establish National Agriculture Markets, so that farmers should get remunerative price for their crops through these IT enabled markets” he said.
He said in the first phase till 30 September, 200 markets will benefit from it and later 585 markets will be covered.
Agriculture minister said there is a need to set-up Horticulture University in Haryana.
Singh informed that fund had been allocated to all states for the promotion and improvement of indigenous breeds.
Governor, Captain Singh Solanki, State Agriculture Minister Omprakash Dhankhad, CPS, Dr. Kamal Gupta and others were present on this occasion.
