Indian Potash Limited (IPL) organised a PM PRANAM Sangoshthi in Kerala to promote sustainable and balanced agricultural practices among farmers. The programme was held in collaboration with Kidangoor Service Co-operative Bank (SCB), the Gram Panchayat, Krishibhavan, and the Kottayam Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK).
The Sangoshthi brought together farmers, agricultural experts, cooperative leaders and local stakeholders to discuss the objectives of the PM PRANAM (PM Programme for Restoration, Awareness, Nourishment and Amelioration of Mother Earth) initiative, which encourages the judicious use of chemical fertilizers and promotes environmentally sustainable farming practices.
Experts highlighted the importance of soil health management, integrated nutrient management and greater adoption of organic and bio-fertilizers to improve farm productivity while protecting natural resources.
