Arunachal Pradesh Cooperation Minister Ojing Tasing chaired a high-level video conference with District Registrars of Cooperative Societies (DRCSs), Assistant Registrars of Cooperative Societies (ARCSs), Secretary (Cooperation) Mito Dirchi, both Joint Registrars of Cooperative Societies, and other senior departmental officials to review key initiatives aimed at strengthening the state’s cooperative sector.
The meeting focused on accelerating the membership drive of newly registered Large-Sized Adivasi Multipurpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPS), expediting the registration of Dairy Cooperative Societies, facilitating the onboarding of cooperatives onto the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal, and improving institutional mechanisms to make the cooperative movement more efficient, transparent, and inclusive.
Emphasising the importance of responsive institutions and sound governance, Tasing said a strong cooperative ecosystem is built on effective service delivery and collaboration.
