The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED) has been conferred with the 17th Cooperative Leadership Award 2026 in recognition of its contribution to the cooperative sector and farmers’ welfare.
The award was presented to Deepak Agarwal, IAS, Managing Director, NAFED, by Rajnath Singh, Union Minister of Defence, during the Agriculture Leadership Conclave held on Wednesday.
The recognition acknowledges NAFED’s continued efforts in strengthening agricultural marketing, supporting farmers, and promoting the cooperative movement across the country.
Over the years, the apex cooperative has played a significant role in implementing government initiatives aimed at ensuring better market access and fair prices for agricultural produce.
