Gujarat’s AMCO Bank Board elected unopposed

In a unanimous outcome, the elections to the Board of Directors of Ahmedabad Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd. (AMCO Bank), one of Gujarat’s leading urban cooperative banks, have been concluded unopposed, with all 12 candidates declared elected without a contest. The results have also received approval from the Central Cooperative Election Authority.

Of the 12 directors elected, six are members of the outgoing Board, while the remaining six are first-time entrants.

From the general category, Tapan Amin, Saumil Patel, Rajeev Patel, Pradeep Shah, Harshang Patel, Kalpeshkumar Patel, Ketan Mehta, Hemang Patel and Rahil Patel were elected unopposed.

From the women’s category, outgoing directors Artiben Shah and Kruti Patel retained their positions, while Punambhai Jadav was elected unopposed from the SC/ST category.

With a business mix exceeding Rs 4,500 crore and a network of more than 35 branches, AMCO Bank is among Gujarat’s prominent urban cooperative banks.
