As part of the Cooperative Week 2026 celebrations, the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India (NCDFI) organised a Blood Donation Camp in association with the Red Cross Society, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from NCDFI employees, who voluntarily donated blood in a collective effort to support healthcare needs and save lives.
The camp reflected the core values of the cooperative movement, service, compassion and collective responsibility, while reinforcing the vision of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, to promote people-centric cooperative initiatives across the country.
NCDFI said the overwhelming response from its employees demonstrated the organisation’s dedication to contributing beyond its institutional responsibilities and making a meaningful impact on society.
Blood donation remains one of the most effective ways to support patients requiring emergency medical care and regular transfusions.
