IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani joined the virtual programme organised at GUJCOMASOL headquarters in Gandhinagar on the occasion of the release of the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Tarkeshwar in Hooghly district of West Bengal.
Sharing details of the programme, Sanghani noted that the Prime Minister released Rs 18,880 crore under the latest installment of PM-KISAN, benefiting more than 9.44 crore farmers across the country through direct benefit transfers.
He said the initiative would provide fresh momentum to farmers’ economic empowerment, agricultural growth and rural prosperity. Sanghani also expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of crores of farmers for the Centre’s continued efforts towards their welfare and progress.
The PM-KISAN scheme remains one of the flagship initiatives aimed at strengthening farm incomes and supporting rural development across India.
