Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated a milk and dairy products sales centre of Shri Warana Sahakari Dudhutpadak Prakriya Sangh Ltd. at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Metro Station in Mumbai.
The inauguration was attended by Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar, Minister Atul Save, MLA Vinay Kore and other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Fadnavis said the outlet would serve as an important platform for bringing Warana’s quality dairy products directly to Mumbai consumers while expanding market access for farmers.
He noted that commercial ventures at metro stations are creating new opportunities for rural producers to connect with urban markets.
The Chief Minister said the initiative would help farmers secure a wider customer base while ensuring easy availability of quality dairy products to commuters and consumers. Describing the outlet as a symbol of farmers’ pride, he lauded the Warana Group for its contribution to dairy development, farmer welfare, and women’s empowerment.
