Maharashtra’s Kolhapur based Sainath Multistate Co-operative Credit Society has strengthened its footprint with the inauguration of its 20th branch in Sawantwadi, Sindhudurg district.
The new branch marks a significant milestone in the society’s expansion beyond its home base of Kolhapur.
Speaking on the occasion, Founder Chairman Uttam Jadhav said the society has built a strong position in the cooperative credit sector, with deposits exceeding Rs 228 crore and a total business mix of around Rs 490 crore. He attributed the institution’s growth to the trust reposed in it by members, depositors, pigmy account holders, and customers.
Jadhav said the Sawantwadi branch is part of the society’s broader expansion strategy aimed at providing reliable and accessible financial services to more people across Maharashtra and neighbouring regions.
With 15 licensed branches already in hand, the society is now looking to expand beyond Kolhapur, with proposed branches in Belagavi, Pune, and Mumbai.
