National Cooperative Union of India organised a two-day awareness programme on “Cooperation” for students of Sanskriti School on May 13 and 14, 2026, aimed at familiarising young minds with the cooperative movement and its role in socio-economic development.

During the programme, Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director of NCUI, explained the importance of youth participation in strengthening the cooperative sector and highlighted several successful cooperative business models operating across the country. He emphasised the role of cooperatives in promoting inclusive growth, community participation and sustainable development.

A total of 44 students participated enthusiastically in the sessions. The programme concluded with an interactive discussion, during which participants shared their views and appreciated the initiative for providing insights into the cooperative movement.
