In a fresh administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government has assigned the additional charge of Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank to Vinay Singh.
A 2015-batch IAS officer, Vinay Singh is currently serving as Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation. He will continue to hold his existing responsibilities, including additional charges as Managing Director of H.P. Agro Industries Corporation Ltd. and H.P. Agro Industrial Packaging India Ltd., along with his new assignment.
Meanwhile, Sharwan Kumar, who was serving as Managing Director of the State Cooperative Bank, has been shifted and appointed as Executive Director of the H.P. State Civil Supplies Corporation.
Notably, during his tenure of more than three years as Managing Director, Sharwan Kumar is credited with steering the bank towards sustained growth and strengthening its overall performance. He also played a significant role in introducing new plans and policy initiatives, contributing to taking the bank to new heights.
