Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took decisive action during a surprise inspection in Sidhi on Sunday, underlining strict accountability in governance and the cooperative sector.
In a significant development, the General Manager of the District Cooperative Bank, P.S. Dhanwal, was suspended with immediate effect over alleged irregularities. The move highlights the state government’s push to ensure transparency and strengthen accountability in cooperative institutions, which play a crucial role in rural credit delivery.
Reviewing multiple departments, the Chief Minister expressed strong displeasure over administrative lapses. He asserted that responsibility begins with appointment and warned that negligence in public service will not be tolerated.
In a separate action in Guna, SP Ankit Soni was removed over alleged mishandling of a cash-related case. More administrative reshuffles are expected as part of ongoing governance reforms.
