Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Savitri Thakur said that values, cooperation and dedication are essential for building a strong society. She made these remarks while addressing a women’s conference and felicitation ceremony organised by Sahkar Bharati in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh.
Sharing details of the event on social media, Thakur highlighted the importance of women’s participation in the cooperative movement. She said that when women move forward with the spirit of cooperation, families, communities and the nation progress together.
The minister emphasised that today’s women are playing significant roles in education, social service, leadership and community development. She noted that their contribution is vital in strengthening both society and the cooperative sector.
During the programme, women who have made outstanding contributions in different fields were honoured for their achievements. Thakur congratulated the awardees and wished them continued success and progress in the future.
