Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan, paid a working visit to the Russian University of Cooperation, where he inaugurated the RUC–Infotech Technopark and interacted with students participating in the youth track of the International Forum on Consumer Cooperation.
Minnikhanov was accompanied by Dmitry Zubov and Alsu Rustemovna Nabieva. During the visit, the delegation toured key facilities of the university, including the Reality of Donbas Museum and the Central Museum of the History of Consumer Cooperation, which showcases nearly 195 years of Russia’s cooperative movement.
A key highlight of the interaction was the participation of Harsh Mukeshbhai Sanghani, President of the Youth Network of the International Co-operative Alliance. Sanghani emphasized the growing importance of youth leadership and international collaboration in strengthening the global cooperative movement.
The visit concluded with the launch of the RUC–Infotech Technopark, a new hub dedicated to digitalization, robotics, and software development, which will support the university’s 15 branches across Russia and create on-campus IT employment opportunities for students.
