The Regional Office of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), Bengaluru, organized the award distribution ceremony for the NCDC Regional Awards for Cooperative Excellence and Merit–2025 on March 10, 2026, at the Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM) in Bengaluru.
During the ceremony, nine outstanding cooperative societies and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) from across Karnataka were honoured for their exemplary performance and contribution to strengthening the cooperative movement. The awards were presented across five categories, recognising institutions that have demonstrated innovation, efficiency, and strong commitment to member welfare and rural development.
The event highlighted the important role played by cooperatives and FPOs in promoting inclusive growth, improving farmers’ livelihoods, and strengthening grassroots economic participation. NCDC officials said the awards aim to encourage best practices and inspire cooperative institutions to further enhance their impact in the sector.
