A cooperative delegation from Gujarat led by Deepakbhai Malani, Chairman of Savarkundla APMC in Amreli district, visited cooperative and agricultural marketing institutions in Bengaluru to study farmer-centric initiatives and strengthen inter-state cooperation.

The delegation toured the state office of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) at Yeshwanthpur APMC, where officials briefed them on cooperative development programmes and the growing adoption of nano fertilisers in Karnataka aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture.

During the visit, the team also interacted with officials of the Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Board and observed onion auctions at the Yeshwanthpur APMC market. The delegates later visited the Karnataka State Cooperative Marketing Federation to understand cooperative marketing and business management practices.

Officials said the visit provided a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, reinforcing the spirit of cooperation between farmer institutions in Gujarat and Karnataka.
