Maharashtra’s based Shivkrupa Sahakari Patpedhi has been honoured with the prestigious State-Level ‘Adarsh Patsanstha (Ideal Credit Society) Award’ for its outstanding all-round performance during the financial year 2024–25.
The award was presented by Maharashtra State Non-Agricultural Cooperative Credit Societies Federation at a two-day training workshop and award ceremony held in Mahabaleshwar.
The award was handed over in the presence of several prominent dignitaries including Pravin Darekar, Chairman of the Maharashtra Housing Self-Redevelopment Authority and President of Mumbai District Bank; Anil Kawade; and Deepak Taware, among others.
Headquartered in Mumbai, Shivkrupa operates across Maharashtra with 102 branches. As of February 2026, the society recorded deposits of Rs 3,227 crore and loans outstanding of Rs 2,542 crore, achieving a combined business of Rs 5,769 crore.
Founded on the principle of combining cooperative values with social responsibility, the institution also runs regional and divisional offices and a modern administrative headquarters, Shivkrupa Bhavan, in Rabale, Navi Mumbai.
Founder-Chairman Gorakh Chavan said the recognition reflects the collective contribution of members, depositors, employees and the board of directors. Shivkrupa has previously won several honours, including the ‘Sahakar Bhushan’ award and the Best Credit Society Award, taking its total tally of recognitions to 21 awards.
