ICM, Kannur conducted a Leadership Development Programme for Board of Directors and Chief Executives of Service Cooperative Banks of Kerala at NCCE, New Delhi.
Kannur ICM has been conducting collaborative training programmes with NCCE for past many years. .
In this Programme, 38 Office Bearers/CEOs participated. In addition to the academic sessions, the Participants visited various Cooperative Institutions in an around Delhi.
The LDP was inaugurated by Shri Mohan Kumar Mishra, Secretary of NCCT. Mishra congratulated Kerala for being the first state in the country to achieve 100% financial inclusion.
Issues of professionalization of employees and Board, application of modern technology and low cost ATM were debated for customers of the rural areas.
The important sessions of the Programme included – Leadership Excellence, Role of Leaders in the Changed Scenario, Various Schemes offered by NCDC, supporting role by NABARD etc. Mr. Sasikumar M.V. Director, ICM, Kannur proposed the Vote of Thanks. Shri Eshwaramoorthy, Faculty of ICM, Kannur was the Co-ordinator of the Programme.
